I am not saying that you have to spend a ton of money on the printing and design and all of that stuff, but what I am saying is don't skimp on the quality of the actual top. The shirt is after all the most essential part of the equation.

You want to choose a quality shirt, heavy weight material is the best because you want something that's going to last. Remember, if you happen to be using the shirt as a marketing tool that it will have your name or logo on it. Do you really want to give out a cheap product that will end up in the garbage with your name on it? You want people to be reminded of quality and value when they see or hear your name and if they see it on a t-shirt that they like to wear, even better.
